Lost in reality-2

I read more articles about the whole event. I did this because I went to Tokyo on 11/5~11/9, the time of cross-strait meeting held in Taipei. The Taiwanese police chased out protestors violently and then many university students decide to launce a sit-in in the National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall. The  action urges the congress to stop the Parade and Assembly Law that was the basics of the violence a few days ago.

I consider that it is a fight between the economy and democracy. While the economy backward is the fact of the eight-year government led by the DPP, the KMT government tries to connect with China to recover the economic relationship positively. However, the KMT government uses the old solution to stop the opposite perspectives. That is violence and then the event makes students to hold the demonstrations to assert the wrong behavior by the police. The demonstration is reasonable due to the democracy. People should have the right in free speech. Nevertheless, the timing is very controversial when the issue is related to the cross-strait relationship.
